Getting to Owen Sound
By Car
Owen Sound is approximately two hours northwest of the Greater Toronto Area. From Toronto, take Highway 10 north through Orangeville and Flesherton to Owen Sound. Alternatively, Highway 26 connects Owen Sound to Collingwood and the Barrie corridor via Highway 400. From London, Highway 21 north provides a scenic route through Goderich and along Lake Huron.
By Bus
Regional bus services connect Owen Sound to other Grey County communities and to larger centres. Check current schedules with regional transit providers for routes and timetables.
By Boat
Owen Sound's inner harbour and marina welcome recreational boaters arriving via Georgian Bay. The municipal marina provides transient docking with full services. The Chi-Cheemaun ferry connects Owen Sound to Manitoulin Island seasonally from May through October.
